The Matsuno Yu, originally a bath house, is located on the Nakamachi Komise Street; a street with an arcade where buildings from the Tokugawa regime still exists to this day. Along with its symbolic pine tree, the Matsuno Yu has long been cherished and frequented by people.
Today, it is a community center where people come and gather for local information.
The exterior has been renovated to its appearance of Showa era.
One of the bath rooms still remains in its original state and there is a unique Tsugaru style Japanese garden. The facility has internet access as the LAN cable extends from the faucet in the bath room.
All are welcome at the Matsuno Yu community Center – from locals who want to get together with friend to visitors who want local tourist information and get to know the local culture. (Admission free)
